Guillermo has been playing in New York for years, Daniel teaches at UT, and the three of us have spent enough time together that these sets tend to go somewhere none of us planned. Come by after work, have a drink, stay as long as you like.

The record is a road trip through the south of Chile, where I grew up. Each tune is a city or town you arrive at, and between them there's solo guitar for the roads that connect them. The rhythms come from music I heard down there growing up.
We go into the studio at the end of August, so this is one of the last nights this music only exists in a room.
